I think I have this figured out tell me what you think….use laser pointers about 12 take them out of the holders place them where I want, use reflectors to make them aiming through the windows to the ground and up through the sun roof, use red, blue, green, I will build a reflecting strip that will let them rotate giving a different look and buy the sound activator! only question is how to tie it all together?
It would be much easier to purchase a sound activated laser show, But if you purchaser individual laser, put mirrors on the speakers, so when they move the laser beam makes a pattern.

I have a quest maybe I am asking to much! I am a Auto stereo nut and I have a 2002 mini cooper that has came in #2 in more contest then I care too say. So I thought I would add Lasers to my car (maybe 10 or more) that would dance with the 121 dbs coming from my 5000 watt system, I know Why? because I have never seen a car with a great system at a car show with built in Laser, how cool right? can anyone give me and Idea where to start? I have done all my installation my self and have a dregee in auto,electrical, etc, etc, so I sure I can do the work…..please help
What an excellent idea!
You can pickup a sound activated laser show on Ebay for cheap. BUT! You must understand the SAFETY measures that must be in place for any type of laser used in public.
It may even require a license to operate in public.
It would be best to find one that the power is at or below 5mw. The beams should be terminated safely, reflections of the beam must be controlled. the area where the Lasers are must not be accessible to anyone but the operator…
You will have to check the local laws for the area you will be displaying the veh. I suggest you look for a forum that is dedicated to lasers shows and ask them.
If you do get this going, I insist you post pics and a video!!!
