As a Blue and White collar worker and a business owner, there are a few companies that have made themselves memorable to me by repeatedly failing to provide the service they are paid too provide.

As a real life example, One of the companies that I have worked for is  HUGE and World Wide. Now one would think that having a contract for a business that size, one would get some degree of professional service especially in this economy. However the problems I have personally seen is appalling! and never ending!

Examples:

  • Constantly missing uniforms
  • Uniforms that are supposedly cleaned, smell like they have been sitting in a pile with 50 other dirty uniforms from other people, put back on a hanger and delivered to the employees to wear!
  • Items turned in for repairs NEVER return
  • Employees having to wash their own uniforms for MONTHS due to them constantly being shorted even after repeated emails, phone calls, and forms sent in.

I just don’t understand how this can keep being a problem day after day, week after week, month after month…

Are the employees they hire missing fingers?  They only need to count to 5! Five shirts and Five pants. You would think that this would be an easy thing to do, yet it continues to be a major issue!

How professional does a company look when an employee looks and smells like they have worn the same uniform for several days, because they have!

When I pay someone to perform a service, I expect to get what I paid for and so should you. and after consistently contacting Aramark about these issues and to be told that it will be taken care of,  only to have the very same problem the next day is UNACCEPTABLE!

Therefor I am using what powers I have to suggest a different uniform company used after this contract has ended. as well as WARN other business to reconsider the use of this company.

I sincerely hope someone WAY up in management reads this and takes a hard look at they way their employees are failing provide the service they are paid for.

ARAMARK Uniform Services, Incompetent at best!

  1. ok, but it is not always the employees fault. Management has a lot to do with it.
