Watching Beezid over the last few months I have seen a several of these auctions go for much more than the retail price that is shown. I have in that time won several items, but all have been under the $100 mark. I have recieved them within 3 weeks of paying for them. I have gotten them all for a very good price. However, when you see certain names pop up you know that the price is going to go way up. Tyler was right with names he posted. Some others are:

beezid is nothing like ebay. popular beezid penny auctions continually reset after the original end of the auction. if they restart the timer one hundred times, the item is only $1 higher in price, each of those resets is a bid you have to pay for. if a beezid penny auction sells for $150, it was bid on fifteen thousand times - almost all of it ALWAYS after the end of the auction's original end time. ebay has ONE end time. ebay auctions are won by the highest bid at one final end and are paid for, by that one person only - everyone else who bid and lost doesn't pay a dime to anyone. beezid makes money on every bid made, win or lose because all bids have to be purchased by all who participate. so ALL people (except one) on the beezid auction lose actual money and get nothing for it. beezid is a pyramid scheme, except there is only ever one place that always gets all the money for nothing - beezid. the most fun about this is that sometimes the same final bid prices on their items can be had from legit sites without having to pay $5 (or more) for each ten tries to win the chance to pay for the auction. keep in mind it takes hundreds of your bids to win a popular item, and that's with smart strategy - the pros use several hundred bids on an item, but obtain them differently. and i think there are fake company bots out there too. anyway, i just got a big personal experience education today and want to warn others that you won't win the chance to buy the auction, you will only pay to lose the auction. however, say the winner, faux or real, pays $100 for an $800 retail item (beezid buys wholesale for $300, and you can buy on sale for $379). beezid precollects $5,000 before this auction starts for the particular $100 auction end price, because it took 10,000 bids to get to $100. they then collect the $100 plus shipping from one lucky person, and ofcourse that person used/bought hundreds of bids to win it, along with the others who also used/bought hundreds (or maybe add another zero) to try to get the chance to buy it. if you add your bids cost to your win price, you could have bought it for that or less online honestly, without the stupid dance.

that $3 bucks you say you're willing to lose can easily cost you $75.00, and you will get nothing, zero, nada, if you lose. but you will still be out the $75 or more. each penny increment costs bidders (other than the pros) on average about .50 cents, and if you want to win you would auto bid, or regularly bid to get that item for $3. beezid will make upwards of $150 for anyone's $3 win. plus they have shill bidders. the odds of buying a popular item on beezid is basically impossible, and i doubt if they even have that item to sell to an actual real bidder. but if they get a $150 winning end bid for a $1000 retail item (their cost for it is probably $300) beezid actually got paid about $7,500.00 from that auction. you could buy it yourself for around $300 on sale at a legit site. winning names can suddenly get bumped off too. it's all a scam, and you have no recourse because the company is in canada. it's not $3. it's never $3.

I don't understand why you're nagging about people reading and posting about this stupid blog while you're doing the exact same! At least people posting on this blog about the scam are being informative instead of pointless. You're just a hypocrite that thinks he's better than everybody else!

Okay, just have to say, I'm reading this entire thing just to distract myself at the moment, beezid scam was the first thing to pop into my mind so I decided to look into it. Some of these comments are funny, some are stupid, and some are probably plants(I mean, there's a post near the top that if you click on the name it leads you into an obvious scam which is an ad for how to win penny bids...) However, think of it this way; yes, there are people hoping to make something for nothing...and yes, that is rarely possible...but the lesson needs to be learned by those people and here they are passing it on so no one else makes the mistake. So just like you, I have no interest in the topic and like you, some of the grammar mistakes are making me twitch...but at the same time, if this is a scam and people are trying this its a lesson that those people need to learn.
Nothing is that easy but at the same time, hope is important. It's just finding the point where there's a balance that's best.
As for the reason I decided to post on yours...I find it amusing. You think these people are idiots yet you actually give them a message that long to say so. I don't think anyone's an idiot. Yes, there are a few lazy people here but for me, curiosity is the main reason for looking into this stuff. Anything I pay for online I will not touch unless I personally know a few people who have actually gotten something from it. Admittedly, the one site I made an exception to that for--they had awesome gloves for five bucks with free shipping, what's five bucks, really--turned out well, I got my order in only three days and there was no issue with it, but that site also had a physical location in another state.
Anyways, allow people to be curious. Some of these people are just checking it out and never spent any money on it while others decided to follow their own experience.

I just have to say that I'm glad that I bid against the people on this forum. The site is all about strategy and no one here obviously has any strategy. The items I've won include a Nikon camera for my wife which I got a few days ago, Star Wars I-VI which is on its way, and 2 memory foam pillows for my wife and I. I hate to diss everyone but yeah...and if you call customer service and ask them to give you free bids, they will if you buy some first.

Today is Halloween, where 41,000,000 kids will be dressing up to go ‘Trick or Treating’. At Beezid, it can’t be all work and no play so we’re always looking for new ways to have a little fun. Today for example, the Hive was filled with different faces: Pharaoh, of course Moses, Cobra Commander, Paul Stanley (one the members of the band Kiss), an undead princess, the Artist Formerly Yet Now Known Again as Prince, Teen Wolf, and more walking around the office, going about their daily tasks.

The penny auction scene is fairly recent, to my knowledge the industry been around for only a couple of years, I've visited a couple of them and until now I prefer Beezid to the rest. It's good to know what you're getting into before you take the plunge, know that you have to pay upfront for bids.
